South Australia was experiencing fruit fly outbreaks – not a common occurrence in our state. These outbreaks were threatening thousands of SA jobs and livelihoods. We were tasked with communicating the unheard of outbreaks to the entire state while also ensuring that those of us who were at most risk understood the restrictions applicable in our area.
