Children should be able to recognise their own mother from a distance, right? But, with 1 in 5 children suffering from Myopia, some may not be able to.
Rather than doing a traditional television commercial, we decided to run a real experiment to test ‘the one in five’. Using real mums and their children, we turned a sports field into one huge eye test.
Over a 12 hour period, three groups of five children were tested under real conditions. The children and their mothers were oblivious to what was going to happen. And, what we discovered on the day was life changing for some.
